About the Couple:

Sarah is a nurse and Calder is an accountant. They live in Omaha with their adorable dog, Roo. They love eating out, spending time with their family and friends, traveling and hitting up the newest spots in town!

About the Wedding Day:

Sarah and Calder’s wedding was full of fun touches which included a signature drink after their dog Roo - named the “Roo Rita”, a photo booth, their name in lights, a personalized bags game, a cigar bar and a light up dance floor.

It was an overcast day in June but the ceremony was still able to be held outside in the beautiful gardens of Lauritzen Gardens. It was filled with love and fun from their friends and family members and even had a guest appearance from their dog, Roo as the ring bearer.

What did they wear?

Sarah wore a gorgeous dress from Ready or Knot and Calder wore a classic tux. The bridesmaids wore black, velvet bridesmaid dresses which added to the elegant affair.

What was the color palette?

We decided to stay classic with the color palette which included white, black and hints of silver.

How did they find S.Lukas & Company as a vendor and what did you contribute?

Sarah and her mom found me via a recommendation from another brides wedding I had helped with and I’m so glad they did find me! We worked together for a year and a half and we planned not only an amazing day but became friends along the way.

As their vendor and with the full planning package I tried to take care of everything for them and make the experience fun and stress free. I found vendors for them, attended meetings and tracked all of the details on the back end and then executed everything on the weekend of their wedding.
