Team Member Highlight | Meet Elizabeth

We have some new faces around S.Lukas & Company helping out with behind the scenes work, assisting Sarah at weddings and even running day of weddings when Sarah is unable to! Today we’d like you to meet Elizabeth Thielen!

A bit more about Elizabeth:
Hi, my name is Elizabeth Thielen! I grew up in South Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Minnesota. I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I received degrees in Business Administration and Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management.

Upon graduation, I moved to Omaha where I started my career as an Event Coordinator at Abraham Catering. I worked on the venue side of the operation, managing events (primarily weddings!). I worked with clients on their food tasting, menu/bar selection, coordinating with vendors, linen colors, assisting with the creation of floor plans and being the on-site day-of coordinator. I loved working weddings and seeing the bride and groom's vision come together!

Following Abraham Catering, I took a role as an Event Coordinator at Creighton University. I assisted the Donor Relations and Alumni Relations Office with planning donor and alumni events.

My husband Mike and I have been married almost 4 years and together we have 2 children: William (2.5) and Adelaide (5 months). I enjoy being with friends and family, going on walks with my kids, reading and riding my peloton.

I am excited to be a part of the team!
