I cannot say enough great things about Sara, Tyler, their gorgeous wedding and their amazing family members! I met Sara (and her amazing mom who did much of the planning) back when I helped plan her sister’s wedding. It was so wonderful connecting with them again and working on another beautiful event.

What was your wedding style?

More than anything I wanted the guests to have fun. I wasn’t great at having a vision or a style, which is where Sarah and my mom were so helpful in helping plan the details! I wanted bright colors for the flowers and had some tablecloths I loved but beyond that Sarah was great about suggesting ideas that were perfect for the date and location of our wedding.

When it came to planning your wedding, what was most important to you?

Everyone having a great time!

What was the best part of your wedding day?

The band was amazing and everyone was having a great time on the dance floor.

What made you choose to work with S.Lukas & Company?

My sister had used Sarah for her wedding and she was wonderful! It was an easy decision for us to work with her again!

If you could provide a tip to another wedding couple planning their wedding, what would it be?

It all goes by so quickly! Try to have as much fun throughout the process as possible!

When it came to your venue selection - what made you choose to get married at Omaha Country Club?

Due to the pandemic we wanted to be able to get married outside as we weren’t sure what things would be like by the time of our wedding. The place we decided on had an option to have the wedding outdoors that we both loved. We got very lucky getting a perfect day (79 degrees!) in late August!
