Behind the Scenes: From Design to Reality
Today I’m talking about our process for design and how it goes from paper to reality! This is from a styled shoot we did in January at the District Loft in Benson. I’m sharing images of the thoughts and ideas and then the final product.
We start with a design board - which is a presentation of colors, textures and the “feel” we’re trying to achieve.
So above is what what was presented to the vendor team - here’s what the happened in reality.
I love that STEMS made the arch look just like the photo!
Our beautiful bride!
I had originally pictured a blue velvet linen but we found these from BBJ Linen and it really worked!
One of the trends is smaller and individual cakes. Magnolia Bakery made this beautiful and gorgeous cake!
Another wedding trend happening is gift boxes for guests vs. favors. The Preppy Bunny helped with these gorgeous gifts for each guest!
A gift for each guest - a candle and match set from The Preppy Bunny.
Dana Osborne Design made these beautiful vellum invitations.
The gold flatware, gold and pink taper candles and light blue chargers really brought the look together.
We had originally thought we’d put the table against the white shiplap wall but we moved it in front of the windows - and wow! So glad we did!
The cherry on top? Our shoot was published in Nebraska Wedding Day Magazine!
